A Way of Getting Closer - Talk Antoinette Nausikaä with Maurice Knegtel, Annewieke Vroom
Finding religion and art in everyday life (Dutch spoken). Artist Antoinette Nausikaä in conversation with Maurice Knegtel Sensei, Zen master and Drs. Annewieke Vroom, Religious Philosopher.
In the former convent chapel of Het Wilde Weten, current artist in residence Antoinette Nausikaä explores how her work can excite the audience to re-investigate ordinary life. The basis of her work is composed of her personal observations and expressions in photography, drawings, text and video.
Halfway through her residency she organizes a public philosophically colored talk, during which two speakers will reflect on her work. The exhibition will be accompanied by a publication.
