Featuring performances by Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt and a DJ-set by Marcus McBride, presentations by Vlambeer, Marc de Vreede and the FOPLONCU team.
Vlambeer Vlambeer is a Dutch independent game studio made up of Rami Ismail and Jan Willem Nijman. The studio is best known for its frantic, arcade-style games such as Super Crate Box, Serious Sam: The Random Encounter and for their stand on video game cloning. Vlambeer was founded in 2010 by Rami Ismail and Jan Willem Nijman, after they dropped out of game design university. They teamed up to fully develop the ‘Crates from Hell’ prototype Jan Willem had created. With no resources, space or money, they created Radical Fishing to earn a starting capital to rent an office and food other than noodles.
THE TERROR PIGEON DANCE REVOLT The world’s sweatiest band!!! Like gym class meets group therapy meets rock n’ roll! A cordial invitation to sing with, dance battle and group hug, total strangers. An extremely audience-engulfing spectacle complete with massive DIY light show, costumes for everyone, sing alongs, slides, and the occasional light saber battle. An opportunity to prove to people that life is wonderful.
FOPLONCU Foploncu is a four player arcade game, where the goal is to bring people together. With this game we are going for a retro arcade style. The game is a place to meet people or just hang out with some friends playing short games, while enjoying a drink. This drink is also all you need to play, because the drink acts as your credit. Once you place a drink in the cupholder on your side of the table, The game will start and the players play short minigames against each other, where the goal is not to win, but to not lose. When you do lose the aforementioned drink lights up. The consequences of losing are determined by the players at the table, an obvious one might be to take a sip or drink the whole thing, but it is all up to the players.
