Exhibition Voorzaat Family
A box full of photos, letters and documents brought us back to the lives of the Voorzaat family in Utrecht (1880 - 1950). As a result, we have come together in this day and age to tell timeless stories about family dynamics, love and memories.
Fourth year students Fine Arts at the Rotterdam Willem de Kooning Academy; Linde Akkerman, Josephine Baan, Bianca den Breejen and Jessica van Deursen have organised an exhibition following the discovery of a box filled with the entire history of one family: the Voorzaat family. Upon researching these documents they were confronted with the happiness and hardships that this family, much like any other family, had endured in their lifetime. This has resulted into an exhibition in which all four artists have taken their own stance in their own medium on the same subject.
We would like to welcome you at the opening of the exhibition on febuary the 1st at 19:00 o’clock. Furthermore the exhibition will be open during the entire month of febuary, wednesdays thru saturdays, from 13:00 to 17:00.
