Everybody likes food or cooking and nobody likes to eat alone! Thinking of that we decided to organize a Food Swap. Bring your best homemade jam, chutney, pies, bread, anything edible to swap and eat together with us. Bring your favorite wine and swap that too. We will have the tables ready and with good music we will enjoy our meal together.

How to get rid of all the weeds in your garden? It’s simple: just eat them! They sure are tasty… On May 18th, Rotterdamse Oogst are hosting a Weeds Dinner, in cooperation with the brand new, freshly opened Fish restaurant KAAP, and Caroline Zeevat, who wrote a book on weeds. They’ll be serving plants and unstoppable produce from the water, i.e. oysters, crayfish and the like.

Rotterdam has a new marketplace for local products! As of 17 March 2013 the creative hotspot ‘Mini Mall’ in De Hofbogen opens its doors to a new initiative: Moes District. Moes District is a bimonthly, indoor local market with products from the region and far beyond.
