For the 43rd consecutive year, the Poetry International Festival in Rotterdam forms a stage for poetry from around the globe. The live sounds of the poets, their driven, inspiring view on the present, life and the world, de strength and the beauty of language and the encounters between the many languages and cultures of the world provide a large wealth to poetry. From foggy cellars under the Cinerama filled with strobes and smoke, the weekly ON club night in Off Corso and events in the NAI and Stubnitz. Many music lovers that attended Rotterdam festivals in it’s heyday heard, or discovered his favorite DJ on a Sound Architecture event.

In the night from April 28th to April 29th we will Celebrate the Night in the North of Rotterdam. From 20:00h in the evening until 08:00am the next morning. A unique night with meetings, places and things, performances and installations that nobody ever saw before. Come on in listening, dancing, building, learn, meet, eat and sleep!

Nine kickboksers out of Rotterdam, hit revivals of Branden en Dood van een Handelsreiziger, an absurd theater concert of Wunderbaum, supporting art by drinking ‘Halbe’ liters of beer, a premiere and tickets for only 10 euros.
