July 23rd - 29th Festival de Bouw will take over the Museumpark. We extend an open invitation to anyone who wants to build a hut or tower there with their own two hands. Wood, saws and hammers are available. We ask for a small contribution towards the cost of nails and screws. Let’s build a new city within Rotterdam together!
When you’re done building, join us at the bar for a cold glass of beer (or lemonade) and make use of our DIY BBQ’s for your dinner. There will be live music and games to keep you entertained well into the night.

Holiday to DÂK, 3 weeks of summer on the roof of parking Thornico with live music, festivals and Social BBQ.
DÂK is a pop-up rooftoppark on top of the Parking Westblaak, just around the corner of the popular Witte de Withstraat area. For three weeks this is the place to spent your summer in Rotterdam. We have live music, local festivals, salsadancing, sportactivities like bootcamps and table tennis tournaments, and on top of the list the Social BBQ where you can bring your own meat! For the sixth edition of this free event, many international acts suchs as The Devil Makes Three, Hackensaw Boys, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and The Deslondes are confirmed to perform over the three days.

Architecture festival ZigZagCity is an expedition through Rotterdam, a journey of the more unexpected places in town. In this edition the festival focuses on the Hoogkwartier, an area that was rebuilt after the Rotterdam blitz and the urban design of which is unique for the Netherlands.
