Chief editor Wim van den Herik and his minions aim to put a handle on relevant developments in local and international scenes. For the occasion of the release of FAKE’s April edition, DE PLAYER and FAKE co-curate this event as a reflection of FAKE Magazine’s content.

More often, Rotown and Motel Mozaique combine forces to get the best (inter)national acts to play a larger stage in Rotterdam. This time, we managed to get two of the bigger stars in contemporary reggae to share the stage of Maassilo. Tarrus Riley and the Black Soil Band will be supported by guests Alaine and Dean Fraser, and Collie Buddz, who worked together with Beyoncé and Joey Bada$$ amongst other, will close this amazing reggae bill.

All The King’s Daughters The Unique Boutique Pop-up tour at Tonys Garage Sale

All the king’s daughters is a great band from Haarlem. It is a small band formed around the singer-songwriter twin sisters Nina and Laura Philips. The Folk/Pop duo was able to release their first EP in January, after successfully finishing a crowd funding campaign.

Oded Tzur is a New York City based saxophonist, composer and bandleader. His work draws on Indian classical music and Jazz, and explores fundamental connections between different musical traditions. Tzur is also responsible for the development of “Middle Path”, a saxophone technique that extends the instrument’s microtonal capacity.
