The Heemraadsplein will be a true horn of plenty, overflowing with market stalls, music, farmers’ design, mobile kitchens, city farmers, loads of good food, coffee, and even an illegal milk bar!

One of the most iconic buildings in Rotterdam, the Hofpoort on the Hofplein, will be transformed into a 24-hour city on Friday 21 June and Saturday 22 June. All are welcome to come and eat, drink, dance, relax, breakfast, discover, meet, skate, create, shop and much more. For a full 24 hours the Hofpoort will be the epicentre of Architecture Day in Rotterdam.

From 16 - 19 May the first edition of Festival Cinéma Arabe takes place at LantarenVenster, Rotterdam. The 4-day festival will be kicked off by the music program Arabesques. By invitation of the festival the acclaimed duo Rocío Márquez and Christian Boissel come to the Netherlands for the European premiere of this breath-taking music program.

Expect lots of (inter)national live bands, sessions & workshops, cartoon exhibitions, picnic, food & ice cold budweiser!

Ned uses striking photo’s made by Ruud Sies of The Rotterdam, the new Building by Rem Koolhaas at Wilhelminapier. A celebration of new music and beautiful images.
