Welcome to our Pre-Graduation Show 2013 from June 21 - 23 2013. The opening is on Friday 21st of June, from 19.00 - 22.00, there are FOOD & DRINKS! Saturday 22th and Sunday 23rd, it’s also open from 14.00 - 18.00 hrs.

Narratives of Deception

A project initiated by André Castro & performed by Toine Hovers, Jozef van Rossum & Cora Schmeiser. Narratives of Deception narrates the dramas of the American soldier who captured Osama bin Laden; the daughter of Kenya’s road minister who is threaten by her evil stepmother; and the sick and religious widow who writes from her hospital bed.

News from Nowhere

News from Nowhere brings together works by fourteen artists from different geographical locations and artistic contexts, who for two years studied and researched together in the Master of Media Design and Communication at the Piet Zwart Institute.

Media Cabaret 2 with screenings; the lecture performance: An Anthem to Open Borders; a live-mapping session and The Beginners Guide to Consent: a zine-making workshop; the performance They Touched Beyoncé plus stARTup camp participants will be pitching their companies Pecha Kucha style for Saturday’s event at WORM and The Tip Top Orchestra.

During this informal artist talk Milan and Nada give insight into their work and how it relates to the exhibition POST-SLACK. What is their vision on the post-slack mentality and how does this affect them as artists and individuals?

OPENING OPPERCLAES. Extra Large #02 by SUPER A

You are invited to the launch of OPPERCLAES. Extra Large #02. Rising star Super A will be the next artist to paint this enormous wall (former Hofplein Station). Super A is bringing an ode to the infamous early 90s gabber-music, which was originated in Rotterdam. On Friday June 27th, at 19h, you are more than welcome in LOKAAL (Mini Mall) to celebrate the new wall.

Special Event Witte de With by Landings

On the 25th of May Witte de With began with a dynamic series of seven events taking place at Witte de With during the summer. On Thursday 13th of June Landings curators Natasha Ginwala and Vivian Ziherl go into conversation with artists, filmmakers, anthropologists, cultural critics and scholars, Landings seeks thought-models, indicators and material proposals towards making sense of our planetary conditions.

Book Launch: Lubok 11

Lubok 11 is one of a series of publications printed from original linocuts, reproduced on a mechanical letterpress. The craftsmanship of the linocut is preserved in the end product. Lubok 11 is co-produced by Lubok Verlag, Leipzig and PrintRoom.

Book Launch: The Archaic Revival Review @ PrintRoom

THE ARCHAIC REVIVAL REVIEW - Printroom publication #11 is a collection of over 20 A3 sized posters by California based artists, compiled and produced by artists Dani Tul and Ewoud van Rijn. The works are stencil printed at PrintRoom’s Risograph workspace in blue and red and kept together with an elastic band.
