Spring is here (well, sort of), so it’s time to start sowing and celebrate! On Saturday May 12, Rotterdamse Oogst organizes the Zaait! festival. This time Katendrecht is the place to be. There’s a market to buy or swap edible plants and seeds, music, a farmer’s market and lots of good regional and local food.

Next Thursday we will have our own full-fledged pizza oven during Motel Mozaïque. Our Chef DJ Wooldrik and a friendly construction team, built a stone oven on the BIRD roof top in seven days!

Get your weekly groceries at the Rotterdamse Oogstmarkt. A farmersmarket with local produce from regional farmers and neighbours. Cheeses from Kinderdijk, spicy sauces from the city, vegetables from the Hoeksche Waard and urban honey.

The place to be at the IFFR 2012. The Hothouse @ the Schouwburg, a greenhouse placed on the famous outside trucklift of the theatre, will be open daily from 16.00 hrs from the 26th of January till February 4th. We’re serving the best wines, Maes pils, Bionade, Vedett, coffee from Rotterdam’s famous coffeeroaster Man met Bril, as well as delicious antipasti and hearty salads.

The pop up lab will challenge you to experiment with yoghurt & micro-vegetables (Koppert Cress), fruit and légumaise (Frank Fol)..
