On Friday the 13th of January Strictly Techno started the new year with a more than successful edition in their home base Perron. These days people who are into raw and dark techno now know where to go in Rotterdam. Perron is without doubt the place where it is currently being served; the rough look, casual atmosphere and the enthusiastic crowd are the perfect ingredients for a solid night of underground techno. After several editions in the new home we felt it was time for a special edition.

Strictly Techno proudly presents none other than techno legend Oscar Mulero. Mulero’s been one of the leading techno DJs from Spain for over two decades . On his well-received recent album ‘Grey Fade to Green “, he showed that, besides being a great dj, he’s also very versatile as a producer. Mulero is one of the most respected djs around, guarantees quality techno and played at almost all respectable leading festivals and clubs worldwide. In the Netherlands Mulero is mainly heard on the big events like Awakenings, so this is a unique opportunity to check him out in a smaller setting.

Audio Assault frontman Bas Mooy always guarantees a portion of uncompromising dark techno. Over the years he has created his own unique sound and build a large fan base at home and abroad. Both on the dancefloor and in the studio, he always remained true to his pure techno sound. In his discography are releases on leading labels such as the legendary Planet Rhythm and his own Audio Assault. The coming year there will be releases on labels such as Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver and Perc Trax. In addition, stay tuned for the forthcoming first release on his new label Mord.

Strictly Techno founder and host Flink knows exactly what to do on his own party. Over the last twenty years he has been involved in putting techno on the map in Rotterdam, organizing and playing at hundreds of nights filled with talented DJs, producers and international heroes. He has shared the stage with almost every techno hero out there and wasn’t ask for no reason to play a 2 hour set between Jeff Mills and Chris Liebing at Lowlands.

The opening act for this night is another high quality product from Rotterdam. Audiowomb is currently hammering out releases on labels such as Bush records, Phobiq, Meleon and Globox.
