Tamara Woestenburg release EP
Long-awaited EP-release of Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland-winner. Sounds like singer-songwriter with a twist. Must appeal to people that like David Bowie, Jeff and Tim Buckley, The Beatles & Nick Drake. The EP also contains a song with dazzling Benjamin Herman and is mastered by Kramer (Pulp Fiction, Low, Daniel Johnston).
Tamara Woestenburg sings and writes songs. With her unique and intense voice, guitar in her hands, Tamara performs solo and with band. Tamara Woestenburg’s deeply personal songs are supported by imaginative instrumentation and arrangements.
In 2010 Tamara Woestenburg won ‘de Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland’ as The Parents (in that time her personal band name). Tamara Woestenburg played with The Parents at festivals like North Sea Jazz (Around Town), Bevrijdingsfestival Zuid-Holland and Magneet Festival. She gave concerts at medium and small concert halls in Holland and Belgium. Nieuwe Binnenweg Rotterdam with music café Voigt and concert hall Rotown is her home base.
Of course, Tamara Woestenburg’s music is unique and outstanding, but she listened carefully to David Bowie, Jeff and Tim Buckley, The Beatles, Nick Drake, Kraftwerk, Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Portishead, Mark Lotterman and Dion & the Magic Chords.
