After a talkshow and a dinnershow during Christmas, Marja van Katendrecht (alter-ego of Art-Jan de Vries) is performing in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg.

‘Wilful Contrarian’ is a danced contemplation on the virtuosity of going against. It is a formal consideration of what it is to impede, undermine, undo, disbalance. A physical study on The Art of Generous Obstruction. It is about saying no. Unless, of course, the other also says no. In which case, it is about saying yes.

‘Staal’ (‘Steel’) is about a group of boys: desperate to grow up and be allowed passage into the real world as real man: strong, successful, funny, attractive, rebellious and forever young. iLL Skill Squad, known from: ‘So you think you can dance’ and ‘Holland’s Got Tallent’ will be giving a show in Theater Zuidplein.
