A ´Rotterdam School´, influenced by Surrealism, took root in a city that proudly boasts of its no-nonsense attitude. Guest Curator Rommert Boonstra selected work from more than 20 artists, photographers amd film makers. Their fantastic imagery is shown in the seventeenth century Schielandshuis, strewn throughout a cityscape of folded paper with the Rotterdam of the Eighties as a backdrop.
